Job Title: Network Administrator

Maintain and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Install software and hardware
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer network systems
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in network administration
  • Strong knowledge of networking software and security
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
