Job Summary:We're seeking a skilled RN Emergency Nurse to join our team at St. Paul's Hospital in downtown Vancouver. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care required to assist patients in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise the plan of care.
- Provide individual and/or group teaching into the care plan and nursing interventions, and/or make referrals to other identified resources.
- Support other nurses and healthcare professionals by collegially sharing information and demonstrating procedures.
We're looking for a Registered Nurse with:
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience working in a tertiary care emergency department and/or two years' recent medical/surgical experience with an approved post-basic emergency nursing specialty program.
