Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our team at CLevelCrossing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our overall marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand strategy, with the ability to analyze existing branding and marketing strategies and improve upon them. You will also be responsible for leading a capable marketing team and delegating tasks fairly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing branding and marketing strategies and improve upon them.
  • Report to the agency CEO and work closely to define overall strategic direction.
  • Lead a capable marketing team and delegate tasks fairly.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Hands on execution of key marketing tasks e.g., events, awards, thought leadership, press (working closely with the team).
  • Set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, and implement various incentives to ensure they are achieved.
  • Conduct market research and implement new strategies based on findings.
  • Monitor industry trends and brief the team on new information.
  • Closely monitor competitors' successes and failures and learn from them.
  • Supervise marketing events and launches and use these spaces to network with industry professionals.
  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff.
  • Build relationships with key industry organizations; assess and action strategic partnerships.
