About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role that involves overseeing the safe flow of industrial goods in and within the branch or warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring branches are supplied as necessary by shipping and receiving goods, checking for accuracy, and appropriately processing orders.
  • Supporting the warehouse by stocking shelves, performing housekeeping activities within the work area, and operating a forklift in support of the movement of goods.
  • Receiving goods into inventory, including unpacking and verifying contents against appropriate documents; ensuring received goods are accurately input into the computer tracking system.
  • Packing and shipping goods in accordance with information on the packing slip, picking and packing goods for shipment as per customer and branch orders.
  • Maintaining Bills of Lading, booking and arranging carriers for timely delivery of goods.
  • Stocking shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment, including forklifts.
  • Filing packing slips from suppliers and co-workers; printing service and production documents as required.
  • Completing a daily forklift log and ensuring the warehouse is always maintained in a clean and organized fashion.
  • Participating in regularly scheduled counts to ensure inventory is maintained and accurate.
  • Handling emergency orders and inter-branch transfers.
  • Operating forklifts and other equipment within the work area in a safe manner.

Requirements:

  • High school education.
  • Valid Forklift license/certification.
  • Valid driver's license and must be insurable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
