Food Service Supervisor

Join BEST BITE PIZZA LTD. as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and culinary expertise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation: Lead a team of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation, adhering to our quality control standards.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to minimize waste and optimize inventory management.
- Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Food Order Summaries: Prepare detailed summaries of food orders for our chef, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Culinary Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of our culinary genres and menu offerings.
- Tray Assembly: Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
- Accessibility Accommodations: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations to ensure equal access for all employees and customers.
- Disability Support: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Newcomer and Refugee Support: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with settlement needs and social and labour market integration.
- Youth Support: Participate in youth employment programs, offering on-the-job training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
- Veteran Support: Participate in programs that support Veterans, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Indigenous Support: Develop relationships with indigenous communities, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Mature Worker Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, offering phased retirement options and workspace accommodations.
- Visible Minority Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, offering mentorship programs and diversity training.
