Position Overview:
We are in search of a Manager of Architectural Lighting Product Marketing to spearhead our strategic marketing initiatives for both our current product offerings and upcoming innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Strategy Development:
Conduct comprehensive market research to gain insights into the architectural lighting sector, identifying trends and customer requirements. Collaborate in formulating marketing strategies that effectively position GVA Lighting's products in the marketplace.
2. Product Positioning and Communication:
Develop clear and persuasive product positioning and messaging that emphasizes the unique benefits of GVA Lighting's offerings. Ensure consistent communication of the product's value to target audiences.
3. Competitive Landscape Analysis:
Perform competitive assessments to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the architectural lighting industry. Collaborate on strategies to effectively position GVA Lighting's products against competitors.
4. Go-to-Market Strategy and Implementation:
Lead cross-functional teams in crafting detailed go-to-market plans for product launches and updates. Oversee the execution of these plans, coordinating efforts across marketing, sales, and other relevant departments.
5. Marketing Materials and Content Development:
Create and manage marketing materials, sales tools, product documentation, and other assets that effectively showcase GVA Lighting's products. Collaborate to produce engaging content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and promotional initiatives.
6. Sales Support and Training:
Work alongside the sales team to develop effective sales tools, training programs, and resources that enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities. Provide product training and support to improve sales efficiency.
7. Customer Insights and Feedback Analysis:
Collect and analyze customer feedback to understand preferences and perceptions regarding GVA Lighting's products. Utilize these insights to drive product enhancements and refine marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the architectural lighting industry, encompassing lighting design, specification, product management, marketing, and engineering sales.
Educational Background:
Strong technical knowledge of lighting; certifications such as LC or CLD are advantageous.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English, with a talent for crafting compelling messages for diverse audiences.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
Project Management:
Proven track record of managing multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Adaptability:
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with marketing tools, analytics platforms, MS Office, and ERP systems.
Customer Orientation:
Understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into effective marketing strategies for lighting solutions.
