Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

ICSS is seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will provide support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Assess client skills and development needs, and implement behavior management programs
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, and resolve conflict situations
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers involved with clients
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
