About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Site Helper to join our team at Tight5 Contracting Ltd. As an Insulation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Site Setup and Dismantling: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Medical Support: Help the medical examiner in charge with medical-related tasks.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on site.
  • Spill Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken on site.
