Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling activities related to the prevention of work-related accidents and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a change agent for the development of an OHS culture among all managers and employees.
  • Advise and support managers in their various OHS matters.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of various OHS programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Carry out analyses of occupational hazards and propose preventive measures.
  • Conduct workplace accident investigations and analyses in conjunction with managers, and ensure that the necessary corrective and preventive measures are applied.

Requirements

  • College diploma or university certificate in OHS.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Bilingualism required.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between company sites.
