Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Receive and process inbound freight by hand, accurately verifying receipt of goods using scanning technology.
2. Sort and organize product into designated areas, utilizing routing and stop information for efficient delivery.
3. Maintain accurate records of received goods, including any damage or discrepancies.
4. Clean and prepare trailers for loading, ensuring they are free from obstacles and hazards.
5. Load and secure freight into trailers, verifying correct routing and order of stops.
6. Stack and secure products to prevent damage during transportation.
7. Segregate returned and damaged goods in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
8. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to prevent injury and ensure a safe working environment.
9. Perform other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the warehouse.

Requirements:
1. High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; knowledge of courier services an asset.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
5. Clean Criminal Record Check required.
