Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Dairyqueen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Load buspans and trays with dishes and utensils, and place them in storage areas.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Scour pots and pans to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Keep records of the quantities of food used to optimize inventory management.
- Package take-out food for our customers.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and providing excellent customer service.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet our high standards.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are always in good condition.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 35 hours of work per week.
