About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Dairyqueen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Take customers' orders and process transactions efficiently.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Load buspans and trays, and place dishes in storage areas to optimize kitchen efficiency.
    • Scour pots and pans, and keep records of food quantities used to ensure inventory management.
  • Inventory Management
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
    • Package take-out food and prepare it for delivery to customers.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
    • Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure optimal performance.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
    • Language
      • English language proficiency.
    • Work Hours
      • 35 hours per week.
