Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with the job site safety plan and take appropriate action to correct safety issues.
  2. Project Logistics: Develop, implement, and update regularly a detailed project logistics plan.
  3. Scheduling and Coordination: Update the project master schedule and develop and maintain a two-week look ahead forecast with the sub-trades.
  4. Subcontractor Management: Conduct subcontract meetings to discuss safety, job progress, and upcoming coordination items.
  5. Shutdown Planning: Plan and document all shutdowns, including infrastructure shutdowns, with proper documentation submitted to the client at least 10 days in advance.
  6. Quality Control: Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and job site progress photos.
  8. Punch-List Management: Document, notify, and track work punch-list to a timely, complete, and acceptable resolution.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Construction Supervisor, with technical systems experience in one or more of the following: excavation, rock breaking, duct-bank construction, medium voltage work, cable pulling, transformer replacements, shutdowns, and re-termination of feeders.
  2. Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication skills and personality traits to work well with team members are essential.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office and Procore is preferred.
  4. Reliability: Must have reliable transportation.
