Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Ironworker Helper to join our team at Nijjar Rebar & Stucco Ltd. As an Ironworker Helper, you will assist our experienced ironworkers in various construction tasks, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as directed by senior ironworkers.
  • Assist medical examiners in charge with tasks as required.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Work Environment

As an Ironworker Helper, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, underground, and in confined spaces, handling heavy loads and working in cold/refrigerated conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer, and you will work various locations.
  • You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. You will work 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
