Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Ironworker Helper to join our team at Nijjar Rebar & Stucco Ltd. As an Ironworker Helper, you will assist our experienced ironworkers in various construction tasks, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as directed by senior ironworkers.
  • Assist medical examiners in charge with tasks as required.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Work Environment

As an Ironworker Helper, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, underground, and in confined spaces, often in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer, and you will work various locations.
  • You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
