About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Planning Analyst to join our team at Moose Knuckles Canada. As a key member of our Wholesale Sales team, you will be responsible for planning and analyzing retail sales and profitability for Department Store partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and synthesize data to analyze sales and generate reports to support the wholesale and planning team.
  • Responsible for planning and analyzing retail sales and profitability for Department Store partners.
  • Help manage receipts, product adjustments, and account profitability.
  • Gather data to assist in strategic recommendations.
  • Support pre-season and in-season planning for increased sales and profitability.
  • Prepare summaries to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor sales trends and promotional activities weekly to maintain success at retail.
  • Analyze sales at the SKU level to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities to grow the business.
  • Manage all retailer weekly reporting requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update tools, reports, etc. to support the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of work experience in Wholesale Planning or Retail Planning, Department Store experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail data analysis and Open to Buy management would be an asset.
  • Expert knowledge and capabilities in Excel. Intermediate experience in PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math.
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills.
  • Planning and Priority Setting: Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
  • Problem Solving & Decision ability: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
