We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Corporate Investigations team as a Corporate Investigations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex investigations, providing risk advice, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct, including employee and vendor fraud, code of conduct violations, and threats.
  • Manage civil and criminal cases, serving as the lead liaison with law enforcement agencies.
  • Assess and investigate allegations received through our internal whistleblower hotline.
  • Provide tactical advice and operational support to management in responding to security incidents.
  • Maintain a strong network of internal and external relationships to promote information exchange and idea sharing.
  • Prepare and deliver concise reports articulating investigative findings in a professional and unbiased manner.
  • Identify policy and procedural gaps, and prepare management reports with recommendations to mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of public or private sector investigative experience, with a focus on fraud, theft, privacy, risk assessments, and customer-impacting scams.
  • Established network of private and public sector investigations relationships, including law enforcement agencies and other legal professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy legislation, including PIPEDA, the Criminal Code of Canada, and the Canadian court system.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interviews of victims, witnesses, and suspects.
  • Strong relationship management skills to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project, time, and organizational management skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver on various initiatives.
  • English is essential; bilingual (French) is preferred.
