Job Title: Carpenter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team at LIBCAN Restoration. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to work overtime and meet tight deadlines
