Natures Path Foods is seeking a seasoned Project Management Leader to join our team in Richmond BC. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of a comprehensive Project Management Office (PMO) framework from scratch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PMO Implementation: Develop and implement a robust PMO framework, encompassing methodologies, governance structures, and best practices to drive project management excellence.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align PMO objectives with business goals, provide regular updates, and address any issues or risks.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resource Management: Develop and manage a project portfolio, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and technology.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track project performance, KPIs, and overall PMO effectiveness, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in technical project management, with at least 2 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Proven experience implementing a PMO from the ground up.
  • PMP, Agile Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar certifications.
  • Experience managing COTS software implementations, preferably in the consumer goods industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align project management practices with business strategy and objectives.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in project management tools and software (MS Project, JIRA, etc), with strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
