The Canada Games Centre is a vibrant community and recreation centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are seeking a highly organized individual to oversee the overall program delivery of our summer camps. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing weekly camp programming schedules, including special guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall program delivery of summer camps
- Responsible for creating and developing weekly camp programming schedules, including special guests
- Ensure camp activities are set up for each camp
- Facilitate activities as needed
- Assist with daily sign in/out process
- Assist with managing a staff team of up to 45 staff throughout the summer
- Assist with staff hiring, training, and evaluation
Requirements
- Must be entering full-time post-secondary studies in the fall semester or returning to full-time post-secondary studies in the fall (proof of enrollment will be requested)
- Customer Service experience
- Previous experience in a setting where children are the main focus
- Previous experience leading a group of peers
- Experience in a customer service setting
- Previous office experience
