Job Summary:

The Cabinetmakers Foreman/Woman will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality cabinets and furniture in our custom cabinet shop. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in cabinetmaking, leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cabinetmakers, apprentices, and trades helpers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare production reports and schedules to meet work deadlines.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the skills of cabinetmakers and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate the requisition of materials and supplies to meet production needs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan and execute projects.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Cabinetmaker Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in cabinetmaking, with a strong background in leadership and supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic security clearance.
