Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Superior Ambulance in Burlington. As a Paramedic, you will provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within your scope of practice, as stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level.
  • Work within your scope of practice, as stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Paramedic License
  • Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification (preferred)
  • CPR Certified
  • 21 Years of age
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License
  • ACLS (Superior Ambulance will train)
  • PALS (Superior Ambulance will train)
  • Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
