Highly Experienced Tax Expert Sought for Vancouver Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our financial strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in managing tax provisions and compliance for our organization.
Job OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tax professional to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive international company. You will have the chance to work closely with our Tax Manager to develop and implement effective tax strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax analysis, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. A CPA designation and enrollment in the CPA In-depth Tax Course are also required. Excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as exceptional communication skills, are essential for this position.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax provisions, financial disclosures, and supporting documentation;
- Ensuring compliance with international tax filing requirements, addressing queries from tax authorities, and coordinating tax matters with global subsidiaries and consultants;
- Responding to internal and external audit requests, managing Canadian and international tax compliance filings, and engaging in various ad-hoc tax projects;
- Supporting the finance and accounting teams by providing necessary tax information and calculations for financial disclosures and reporting;
- Assisting in the budgeting process for global tax payments, monitoring intercompany balances, and managing updates to subsidiary capitalizations and surplus calculations;
- Providing strategic tax insights to optimize financial performance and compliance.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, long-term disability, and AD&D insurance.
