$89,000 to $135,000 per year.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager to join our Vancouver International Tax team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax services, including public company taxation, and the ability to develop innovative tax solutions for clients.

  1. Provide tax services to clients, including those in the public company division.
  2. Continuously develop knowledge of taxation concepts and apply this understanding to client situations.
  3. Propose practical tax solutions and prepare/review tax reorganizations and returns.
  4. Engage in tax consulting activities, including advising on international expansion and assisting with tax controversy matters.
  5. Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
  7. Invest in staff training and professional development.

Your Experience and Education

The successful candidate will have:

  • Completed their Canadian CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Course or Master's in Tax.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the public accounting industry specializing in Tax.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Canadian and International Tax.
  • An extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate tax compliance and planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong value on teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
