Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Westwood Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our landscape construction team, you will be responsible for planning and managing outdoor worksites, supervising staff, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials for landscape construction projects
  • Supervise and manage landscape construction work, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company standards
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including materials requisitioned and equipment used
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and establish work schedules and procedures
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and industry standards
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
