Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Westwood Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and execution of landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for landscape construction projects
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring high-quality results and timely completion
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including materials and labor used
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, promoting a safe and efficient work environment
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety regulations

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in outdoor conditions
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
