Job Title: Digital Creative Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Creative Specialist to join our team at Global Media Communications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their website requirements and develop a comprehensive design concept.
  • Design and develop website mock-ups and storyboards using Adobe Illustrator and other design tools.
  • Source and select information for inclusion on the website, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and optimize website content using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality control to ensure the website meets our high standards.
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Develop graphic elements that meet clients' objectives, including sketches, layouts, and final illustrations.
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides to ensure consistency.
  • Coordinate sub-contracting as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment:
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language.
