About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Angele's Framing Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for residential renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in framing and carpentry
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliability and ability to meet tight deadlines
