Framing Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Angele's Framing Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood construction and be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in wood construction.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments.
  • Excellent measuring and cutting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
