About the Role:

T-Net British Columbia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, Gatling, or other test frameworks to identify software problems.
  • Maintain and improve the test automation framework and scripts for end-to-end tests.
  • Coordinate and participate in feature requirements review for testability and sign off on test strategy.
  • Work closely with developers to assist in debugging, testing, and development of tools to help identify defects.
  • Available to help troubleshoot critical customer issues, including reproducing issues, analyzing application logs, or clarifying intended feature functionality.
  • Perform automated and manual testing, including regression testing for each release cycle to ensure software meets business and security requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • ~3+ years of experience as a Software Test Developer or as a Developer.
  • A good understanding of different software testing techniques and when to apply them.
  • Proficient in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Experience with testing RESTful APIs using Postman or REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools like Gatling.
  • Familiar with continuous integration pipelines such as Jenkins.
  • Deep commitment and passion for maintaining quality.
