About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at 431 Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instructing apprentices and maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment

As a Framing Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
