Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at 431 Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Instructing apprentices and maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.
As a Framing Carpenter, you will work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under tight deadlines, and maintain a physically demanding pace.
Requirements- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years, or equivalent experience.
- Efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
- Dental plan.
- Health care plan.
- Parking available.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
