We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Project Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the lifecycle of tax-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective communication with clients and internal teams.


">About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in project management within a client-facing role in a professional services or accounting environment. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and convey complex information effectively.


">Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary contact for clients on project matters, ensuring timely updates and seamless experiences.
  • Oversee and manage the lifecycle of tax-related projects, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the tax team to provide tailored support to clients, ensuring high standards of service quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Liaise with various teams within the firm, ensuring each project has the resources needed to meet client needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the project management workflow, assisting the team in implementing more efficient practices and tools.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and track key milestones to keep all stakeholders informed on progress.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management within a client-facing role in a professional services or accounting environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and convey complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Workday.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of tax services is a strong asset.

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
