About the Role

Caringpeople Healthcare Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in a nursing care setting. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities: Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.
  • Provide personal care: Assist with feeding, transferring, and positioning patients.
  • Support with medical equipment: Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment.
  • Deliver patient care: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and assist with administering medications.
  • Transport patients: Safely transport patients between care facilities and within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively: Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a nursing care setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
