About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at AP Murphy Construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced construction professionals.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site to maintain a safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires working under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform other physically demanding tasks as required.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
