We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Medicine Hat Toyota. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running efficiently
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices as needed
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
