Job Title: Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Nadji Architects Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to professional architects in conducting research, preparing drawings, architectural models, specifications, and contracts, and supervising construction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of building projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and public buildings.
  • Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements, and other technical documents.
  • Provide technical support in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Supervise construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet the required technical and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to ensure that the team is equipped to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as architecture, engineering, or construction management.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided drafting, ArchiCAD, and other architectural software programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
