Job Summary

Shiaz Kingston Limited is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team of food service professionals. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain accurate records of stock, and ensure that all inventory is properly stored and rotated.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, as well as analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, including assigning sales workers to duties and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Maintain up-to-date certifications, such as Safe Food Handling, and ensure that all staff members are properly trained and certified.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32.5 hours per week
