About the Role

This 2-year contract position is based at our Head Office in Australia and offers a unique chance to work on a complex project that aligns with our strategic objectives. As a Senior Business Transformation Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the collation, validation, and traceability of business requirements from initiation to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Business Requirements Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, validate, and document business requirements that support our strategic vision and compliance standards.
  • Strategic Guidance: Shape and refine business requirements to ensure compatibility with COTS solutions, minimize customizations, and enable future scalability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business units to critically evaluate legacy systems, processes, and assumptions, defining requirements that support current objectives and align with our long-term strategic vision for automation and digital transformation.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct workshops and meetings to elicit and clarify requirements, pushing for business process alignment with new systems and eliminating outdated workflows.
  • Business Process Development: Work with business units to shape business processes that align with new system functionalities.
  • Documentation and Mapping: Document and map current business processes when deemed necessary, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess the impact of any process changes on the organizational structure, compliance obligations, and customer satisfaction.
  • High-Quality Documentation: Develop high-quality documentation, including business requirement documents (BRD), process flows, and user stories, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess advanced business analysis methodologies, strategically leading and driving best performance while mentoring and creating trusting relationships with all business stakeholders, vendors, and project staff. You should have strong skills in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, and be degree qualified in IT, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications and a valid working visa for Australia are also required.
