Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team at Great Gulf Group of Companies. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and high availability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our business units.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor and troubleshoot network and server systems to ensure high availability and stability.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the timely application of security patches and adhere to a rigorous monthly update schedule to safeguard our infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Actively participate in discussions around system architecture and configurations, contributing insights that drive the strategic evolution of our infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Deep technical expertise in Microsoft platforms and technologies, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, and database management.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud infrastructure services, particularly Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), with a preference for Azure.
  • Networking and Security: Solid understanding and application of networking principles, with a comprehensive grasp of cloud-based networking (preferably within Azure).
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficient in scripting with Bash and PowerShell, enabling automation and efficient system management.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and documentation.
