Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team at Great Gulf Group of Companies. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and high availability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet business needs, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide expert-level support for IT operations, including troubleshooting, incident management, and problem resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong background in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, and database management.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix platforms and associated technologies.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services, particularly Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), with a preference for Azure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
