About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our eero team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android application.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the Android platform.
  2. Shape our product vision and build exciting business and customer-facing Android features.
  3. Enhance and optimize existing software components to improve reliability, scalability, and flexibility.
  4. Define, design, and develop the tactical direction of our server-side and middleware services.
  5. Provide mentorship to other engineers and help improve development processes to increase developer productivity and project predictability.
A Day in the Life

As an Android Engineer on the eero team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building reusable UI components to integrating with cloud APIs. You will be responsible for evaluating new frameworks and tools, mentoring fellow engineers, and shaping eero's future roadmap.

About the Team

We are a full-stack team with specialized developers in mobile, web, and cloud engineering working on key features built around the user experience. We power our customers' experience from login, network setup to device management and much more.

Requirements
  1. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  2. 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  3. Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
