Clinical Practice Consultant, Professional Practice Expert

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Consultant, Professional Practice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and contribute to the development of clinical best practices and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the health team to establish Fraser Health as a provincial leader in clinical best practice and patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the scope and standards of clinical practice identified by regulatory bodies and Fraser Health.
- Develop and implement clinical practice assessment, advice, education, and practice development initiatives to advance quality clinical practice.
- Consult with clinicians, managers, and directors to ensure Fraser Health is a leader in clinical care and a professional practice environment.
- Develop and implement education plans, clinical decision support tools, and revision of supporting documentation to support compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Oversee and support projects and initiatives, incorporating change management and knowledge translation considerations.
- Maximize health human resources utilization by facilitating full scope of practice for all categories of health providers.
- Recommend and lead or contribute to the development of new clinical policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved clinical health profession with a Master's degree in that health profession or in health administration, education, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years' recent, related clinical and/or education experience in a complex health care environment.
- Current practicing registration with the relevant regulatory college or association in British Columbia.
- Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Creates the conditions for people to succeed.
- Knowledge of the health care system and provincial educational systems.
- Thorough knowledge and experience working with complex health care organizations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable regulatory body/association standards.
- Ability to exercise initiative, creativity, and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively and participate effectively in a team environment.
