About Vans Retail Sales Associate Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Vans retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations to drive sales.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new arrivals, promotions, and sales.
  • Ensure a seamless shopping experience by maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet business objectives.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting store environment.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or prior retail experience preferred.
