Mackay Development Inc is seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper, Property Accountant to join our team in Montreal. The ideal candidate should be bilingual, exceptionally organized, and have proven capabilities in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. The candidate must be well-versed in technology and willing to learn easily. Knowledge of specific residential property management software like Proprio Expert, Hopem, Primo Residential or Yardi (Breeze or Voyager) and other software like Sage or Quickbooks is an asset. The successful candidate will work with all sets of books, ensure rent roll is accurate, and make billings promptly. They will also be responsible for data entry, sending notices to tenants, and providing accurate and timely information. The candidate will work closely with the controller, CPA, tax, property manager(s), and fellow staff. The ideal candidate will be adept with new IT introductions and have excellent communication skills.
