Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to manage payroll and accounts payable for our organization. This is a key role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll, including weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for 250 employees
- Process and reconcile accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including creating and updating employee records
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage benefits and time-off administration, including vacation, sick leave, and maternity leave
- Perform other related tasks as required
Requirements:
- Intermediate level of English proficiency
- DEP in accounting or equivalent
- Knowledge of Nethris or Employeur D software (an asset)
