Job Title: Industrial Safety Officer

Leverage your expertise in occupational health and safety to drive a culture of compliance and excellence at LEXO-1000 INC. As an Industrial Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and enforce policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Hazard Assessments: Identify and evaluate potential hazards in the workplace, and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Provide Training and Support: Deliver training programs to employees on safety protocols and procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure a culture of safety.
  • Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents, and develop recommendations to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, management, and external stakeholders to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Occupational Health and Safety Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
