Venterra Realty is a well-capitalized, privately held investment and technology company with a strong presence in the US real estate market. We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leader to join our team.


The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a robust financial management approach, engaging actively in all aspects of the financial forecasting process. They will foster a culture of continuous improvement, consistently seeking and implementing innovative strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight within the financial planning and analysis function.


This individual will be responsible for contributing to the preparation of accurate and insightful financial forecasts, variance analyses, and performance reports to provide actionable insights to senior management. They will also create and maintain financial models to evaluate different scenarios, assess the impact of business decisions on cash flow, and develop well-tailored variance commentary.


The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience building/supporting complex financial models, developing and monitoring metrics, and preparing advanced analytic analysis. A strong background in financial modeling, preferably in the multi-family sector, is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or relevant professional designation (CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of financial modeling experience; background in the multi-family sector is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and experience working within the application under pressure is required.
  • A relationship builder at all levels—internally and externally. A team player. Collaborates naturally, well, and easily.
  • Confident, warm, understated with obvious business acumen. Strong personal presence and Venterra's Core Values resonate and align with his/her/their beliefs and behaviors.
  • Excellent communicator who enables the translation of complex and detailed financial and business information into concise informative messages.

  • Well-read on Real Estate, economic, and business matters.
