Job Summary

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Teaching Assistant in the College of Agriculture and Bioresources. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success of students in the PLSC 214 course.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of course materials, including lectures, tutorials, and assignments.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in the course, including answering questions and providing feedback on assignments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools and evaluation methods.
  • Collaborate with the course instructor and other teaching staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of course materials, including syllabi, course outlines, and other supporting documents.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong background in statistical analysis and agricultural research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Registration in a graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan.

Working Conditions
