Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our team at Flexstaf IT. As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing systems administration and operations support, including setting up user access, user profiles, backup and recovery, and day-to-day computer systems operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide systems administration and operations support, including setting up user access, user profiles, backup and recovery, and day-to-day computer systems operations.
  • Perform software upgrades and apply patches.
  • Provide customer interface to ensure requested changes are implemented.
  • Monitor computer workload trends and make adjustments to ensure optimum utilization of computer resources.
  • Provide expertise in the areas of IT Infrastructure, Servers and Operating Systems to development teams.
Requirements
  • Troubleshooting and making modifications in Digital Workplace Catalog (DWPC) and DWP.
  • Data configuration and installing/patching BMC ITSM (ARS, AI, CMDB, ITSM, RKM, SLM) plus Smart IT and DWP & DWPC all v20.x and newer.
  • Smart Reporting install, configurations, and customization as per the client requirements.
  • Review remedy workflow via dev-studio and troubleshoot performance issues including, enabling logs and identifying workflows or platform aspects from a root cause analysis.
  • Ability to run BMC utilities for post DB copy updates, foundation data loads (manually or through DMT tool).
  • Analyzing SOAP, REST and atrium-integrator based integrations.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a development environment within Linux infrastructure, managing BMC ITSM application suite.
